"Confessions" is a regular feature of SASS magazine, the publication of , which is a great organization promoting the use of earth-friendly products in everyday products
I love shoes. I try to think I am not materialistic, and distain the American ideal of shopping as a social activity, but I have a serious weakness when it comes to shoes. A lot of other women share this obsession, and I think it's because of two reasons: 1) you wear pretty much the same size for your entire adult life, and 2) you donŐt have to take your clothes off to try them on.
I spend a lot of time rationalizing my obsession. I walk a lot. I stand on my feet all day. I got them on sale. But when it really comes down to it, there is no excuse for having enough shoes that I could wear a different pair each week of the year. I even went so far as to convert a floor-to-ceiling linen closet into my shoe wardrobe.
